My Books

Ideas can come from anywhere, at any time – usually when it’s most inconvenient and I don’t have a pen to hand. They often land in my head as if from another world, or like lightning bolts from the sky.

Travel definitely feeds my soul. My personal memories of countries and people all around the world help to breathe authenticity into my books and bring the locations to life.

I am also inspired by nature, music, art and photography. Novels, TV shows, stand-up comedy and mostly ordinary life all fuel new ideas. Conversations with those I love and conversations with strangers all get stored up somewhere in the memory banks.
